What you get
A flake floor is an epoxy or polyaspartic base coat covered with colored vinyl chips and sealed under a clear top. The chips add texture, hide dust and tire marks, and give the floor a speckled granite look.
Popular blends around here
Grays with black and white are the classic look. Many Eastvale homes with warm stucco and tile go for beige, brown and cream blends instead. We bring chip samples so you can see them in your own light.
Why the texture helps
After a swim or a hose-down, a smooth floor gets slick. The chips add grip. We can also add a fine grit to the topcoat if you want more.
Where it works well
- Two- and three-car garages
- Laundry rooms off the garage
- Patios under a roof or covered areas
How durable is it?
Very. The chips are locked into the coating and protected by the topcoat.
Can I do a partial flake look?
Yes, but full coverage hides more and lasts longer.
How it compares to plain epoxy
A solid-color epoxy floor looks sleek but shows dust and scratches more. Flake floors hide those better and are easier to keep looking clean.
