Picking a sealer
Penetrating sealers keep a natural look and soak in. Topical sealers add sheen and can deepen color, which is popular on stamped patios.
Inland Empire conditions
Strong sun and the occasional winter storm are hard on concrete. Sealing helps repel water, oil and pool chemicals.
How often should I reseal?
Every few years, depending on sun and traffic.
Do you clean first?
Yes, we wash and degrease before applying sealer.
Pool decks and backyard slabs
A lot of Eastvale backyards have a pool deck, a patio and side yards that all connect. Chlorine, sunscreen and sprinkler overspray can stain and etch bare concrete. A penetrating sealer reduces that without making the surface slippery for wet feet. For a stamped patio that has faded, a tinted or wet-look sealer brings the color back.
Driveways and oil
Oil drips from cars and trucks soak deep into unsealed driveways. We degrease, clean and then seal so future drips can be wiped up before they set in. Sealing does not make a driveway stain-proof, but it buys you time.
